The Stacy Francis Music, Art & Education Foundation presents an extraordinary event that brings together distinguished individuals committed to advancing concrete action against one of society’s most urgent yet hidden crises: human trafficking.

A Hidden Crisis in the United States

The Stacy Francis Foundation’s core mission is to champion art and education as instruments for change.

During the 2020 pandemic and the years that followed, the Foundation mobilized to distribute more than 100,000 meals and provide essential resources to those in need. Stacy Francis personally traveled to Africa to deliver food to students at Elsies River Elementary School in Cape Town and also brought aid to the streets of Brooklyn New York.

Today, we recognize that the most devastating humanitarian crises do not always appear in the form of hunger yet they are no less destructive. Among them is human trafficking: a modern-day atrocity that starkly contradicts the civilization we aspire to build.

While humanity achieves breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and space exploration to the Moon and Mars, innocent victims are abducted and exploited every single day in a hidden global marketplace.

As a foundation and as artists, we feel a profound responsibility to raise awareness and to promote a vision of a truly sustainable future, one that begins with honoring the intrinsic value of every human life, and especially the dignity of women.

This issue is not as distant as it may seem. The internet and new technologies make identity manipulation effortless, offering cover to those who exploit or disguise themselves. Young people, often unprepared for this kind of violence, are especially vulnerable, as strangers can now reach them in countless ways. Any parent of a teenager or preteen knows how close these dangers are. None of us are truly immune.
